Now i know that terrablox is a blocky game
but it would be cool to create a working rocket that fire outs blocks that move and it only explodes when it hits something or something like that
but the requirements to make that rocket  you would need an engine block
and some fuel
though if people like this idea it might happen later in the game

I have ideas and plans for mechanisms. I don't think the right time has come to put them in yet, nor will it for a while I'm afraid.

You know what we could use before this, is modding tools.

This seems like something far in the future of terrablox, more likely something a user would make.
I've made some stuff for terrablox, but I'm too lazy to link to much of it.

What sort of modding tools are you after? I do plan some form of command + scripting language. But obviously, that has to wait a while as well. Well, maybe I can do commands, I made a topic somewhere for them to be listed ages ago.

But I do plan on a mechanism system myself, it is quite well planned out, I just don't want to give anything away atm. :P

I think some tools for creating-new/modifying mobs/blocks would be nice, as well as scripts that will run automatically, (And have the ability to interact with things in the game)

So you could have like a mods folder, and a mod would have it's own folder, where you could make files and stuff for what you want it to do.

Jack should create a external source code version where all the code is in folder outside of the exe. when the game is finished of course
Go Terrablox.

He means about editing external core of the game, not internal. That means that Jack could keep his magic but we would still be able to modify it to a big extent.

I mean, that's what it is right now.

And no, it wouldn't be called open-source as the .EXE is not being compiled.
