I've made some stuff for terrablox, but I'm too lazy to link to much of it.

Not sure how clear it is, but I've improved the blur quality slightly. It's not gaussian because as I explained before, that's relatively expensive. But it does sample the 8 surrounding pixels, it does this 3 times (when each mip target is rendered), so the final blurriest surface is OK.

BUT, what is interesting now, is that instead of using just the final target (mip8) is uses all 3 mip targets. So the blur transition is smoother too. This is done by taking the view distance and taking out 4 regions of it. Each region blends from one mip level to the next. So: Normal>Mip2, Mip2>Mip4, Mip4>Mip8, then Mip 8 for anything left. So this means you have blurring a bit closer, but it's a much finer, less shaky/hazy blur.

Also, on other notes, added in some more options; such as view distance and fullscreen toggle to the main menu.

''U Wot M8'' or ''You Wot Mate'' is usually used when a person doesnt hear what the other person is saying, it also can be used in arguments or before a fight which is spoke in a quick aggressive manner, the term ''You Wot Mate'' has been around since the early 90's and the term has recently confused Americans as expected.

- Your mums a slag....

- U Wot M8? you wanna a fucking slap?

- No, i was just joking mate, sorry.

The term is also commonly used by gamers to ask noob how he feels.

Well well, look at what I found!

One single block texture is 256x256, the full image containing all the blocks is 4096x4096 and takes as little as 2.98mB of space, but that's quite big compared to the default pack which takes only 4.86kB of space. There are no fps drop at all either, however, it is a little bland for a texture pack and that's the reason why I'm not releasing it (apart from the fact the textures were taken from copyrighted photos)

Looks really good Uxer!
We need some mipmapping or a small update with the depth of field that Jack teased us with! :P

Did I never release that?!?! I thought I did!
I'll see if I can do a build later, there were a few errors last time I saw though. We'll see!

I don't know about mip-mapping any time soon. I don't want to use any extensions to access those settings, it'd need to be supported by GM and potentially cross-platform for me to include it (of course you could always add it yourself when it's opensource). I can mitigate texture artifacts pretty well without it, but there's still issues from geometry edges that make it screwy. We'll see what happens with the new engine with regards to this.

I accidentally found how to make and use an elevator in terrablox.
If you viewed that video you may wonder why I do nothing for about 30-40 secs, well that's because I was talking, but for some reason my mic didn't record what I was saying.

More screens of that texture pack:
