TBEdit
« on: December 24, 2013, 11:42:44 PM »
Here is a new program I made for Legacy Terrablox! With this, you can open worlds and edit them freely, similar to minecraft's MCEdit (Yeah I know I couldnt come up with a better name)
Spoiler: MCEdit (hover to show)
This is a very early beta, and was sort of rushed because of my wanting to get it released by today. I will update every now and then, so TBEdit can become something that is used by everyone for making even more awesome maps!
I know you guys wanted it, so here it is, as my Christmas present to you!

UPDATE: Now includes sample structure files for you to make in the future when it actually WORKS. You can open these in notepead or something to look at how to make your own. You dont have to learn gml if you look closely!

Dang i'm slow, well, I will check this out! (and pause progress on an old project of mine)

EDIT:
I must say! Good job Eden! This is really nice!
This is one heck of a Christmas gift to us all :D

I just got a quick question however,
How do you make a terrablox structure file?

*390th post!

I've made some stuff for terrablox, but I'm too lazy to link to much of it.

Well, you put it in braces and type a bunch of ds_grid_set  statements like so:

{
ds_grid_set(Layer[z],w,h,1)
}

That would set the origin of the structure to grass. You can look at the block index to get the values and change the coords to z+2 or w+1 or what not. Then, save the text as a .terra file. I was going to include the sample structures but I forgot! Darn my. Rush jobness! Well I will add those in in a sec

EDIT: Done!

Okay, I got the latest version, and I can't even put structure in :/

When I spawn a structure, it gives me this:

Wow! Looks exactly like MCEdit. Suggestion: When you first genarate a world the program will act like Minecraft's World Painter.

Yea I did say that that's how you  will make one when it actually WORKS.

@Johny
I doesn't look that much like MCEdit. That picture WAS of MCEdit and not TBEdit.
And I dont know what you mean by world painter.

Awesome, finally got it working, didnt realize it has to be in the terrablox folder..
Well, surprisingly it was epic fast and simple to use (after finding out the controls).

Same, it was very difficult at the beginning, you might want to add a documentation about it terrabloxian :D

The tool tips at the top tell you how to use everything.  I guess it's kinda odd what with you having to click twice before selecting, but I am aware of what does and doesn't work though. I am trying to fix them though.
